Two meniscus tears and systematic arthritis don’t keep Suzanne Stone from running.
Stone, a 60 year old who lives in Long Island, N.Y., leads her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Gabby, through competitions that test both the dog and owner’s agility.
The 7.5-year-old dog — officially AKC-named Lonestar Play By Play — has earned titles in agility, obedience and herding (including Companion Dog, Herding Tested, Master Agility, Master Jumper with Weaves, Excellent FAST and Canine Good Citizen).
Stone says Hoka One One running shoes have helped her continue to lead Gabby through training and competition. “Hokas are literally keeping me running,” she says. Check it out here:
Watch more agility competitions on Feb. 8, when the Westminster Kennel Club will host its first agility trial.
