Salomon was gracious enough to attend last week’s trail run with some demo shoes of the Fellraiser. As described by Salomon: “Inspired by a proven winner, the S-Lab Fellcross, the Fellraiser is a low, lightweight, and fast-drying trail shoe for training in muddy and wet conditions.”
Many of the runners did a trial run in them, and the overall rating was high. With its lower heel-to-toe drop, a slightly wider toe box and an aggressive tread, this shoe maneuvered remarkably well over the technical terrain. Most people who tested the shoe gave it a positive review, citing how light and agile it felt on the trail. A couple of our runners mentioned they might use a shoe with more support for runs greater than 20 miles, but otherwise they gave the Fellraiser a strong rating.
