Starting at the Georgetown Running Company, this route is and an out-and-back along the Potomac River.
This 4 Mile Run along the Potomac River is a bit hilly. With some moderate climbs, it runs south along the river, passing by the famous Watergate Hotel near the mile marker. The run continues to head south for another mile, where it loops around the Lincoln Memorial, as you’ll pass the steps to the National Mall and a sitting Lincoln just before the 2 mile marker. From there, the route heads back north along the Potomac, once again passing the Watergate – this time at mile 3. The final mile climbs nearly 50 feet, where it ends back at the doorstep of the Georgetown Running Company.
