Continuing on our product review theme, the Nike Structure 17 is a solid update to Nike’s trademark support shoe. The reason I say solid and not great is the fact that it hardly changed at all, which for some people, is going to be great news and for others, not so much! The dynamic support, which is now a staple, is still present in this Nike Structure. Dynamic support is Nike’s technical term for support meaning that as your foot moves throughout the gait cycle, so will the support. The other cool feature to the shoe is the shoe is now semi reflective. It does not have the full length shield component that others do, but as you can see in the photo, as light hits it, it reflects in the back. Overall, a fantastic guidance shoe very comparable to the Brooks Ravenna, Mizuno Wave Inspire, New Balance 870, and Saucony Guide, but is not truely as supportive as it claims to be. Finally, its a great looking shoe too!
