No matter which spring marathon is on your calendar, join the GBRC Andover RunThisTown Spring Marathon Training Group for training plans, advice, group training runs of varying distances. Train right and train smart: This program will focus on a shorter long run on fatigued legs instead of several long runs of 20+ miles.
You’ll receive a training plan & coached workouts from Post-collegiate runners Tom Poland & Eric McDonald (winner of the Rock n’ Roll Savannah Marathon 2013).
Tuesday, January 7 – Spring Marathon Season
Tuesdays @ 5:30PM: Medium long run (10-12 miles.)
Thursdays @ 6:30 PM: Optional easy group social run (4-6 miles) followed by post-run beers!
Saturdays @6:45AM: Meet at North Andover Common for a group long run with Borderline Running Club (14+ miles.)
Location: Tuesdays & Thursdays GBRC Andover @ 45 Main Street, Saturdays @ North Andover Common.
