Join us on Thursday, December 18 at 6:15 for an evening with Advanced Therapeutics.
Therapists Beth Manning and Wileen Arellano work with a number of runners to improve running efficiency and treat and prevent injury. During their presentation, they’ll demonstrate some of the primal movements that runners can easy incorporate into their training to help eliminate any weaknesses that hinder performance and increase injury risk. Learn how to become a more efficient athlete, while developing the foundations of strength, gait, balance, coordination and proprioception. These basic movements help lower stress, allow for faster recovery and relieve many of the nagging aches and pains runners experience.
Based in Bedminster (Plukemin), Advanced Therapeutics uses a variety of techniques to assess and treat athletes so they can move efficiently and without pain. Therapies include Neuromuscular Reeducation, therapeutic massage, neuromuscular therapy, primal movement, Rocktape, deep tissue laser therapy and active isolated stretching. The goal is to relieve pain while uncovering and treating the source of the pain, not just the symptoms. By assessing how muscles interact during specific movements, therapists reprogram any patterns that cause pain or imbalances at the neurological level.
Join us to learn more about Advanced Therapeutics and to practice techniques to develop your own strength through developmental movements that are quick and easy additions to your warm up or cool down.
