Meet Jacob Edwards, manager at Summit Running Company, who was hired in 2011.
A competitive runner since he was eight years old, Jacob had a humble start just logging miles with his parents and has done it all — racing everything from the 800m to the 50-mile.
He comes from a historic running family, too, as his grandfather is John J. Kelly, two-time Olympian, eight-time straight AAU national marathon titles, and most notably the 1957 Boston Marathon winner.
He says the most enjoyable part of his job is the conversations with customers. His best advice to anyone running is to try and smile more.
