Starting at the New York Running Company-Bronxville, this route is a hilly loop.
This 5 mile loop is moderately hilly, and will test your heart, legs, and lungs the whole way. This run starts with a 50-foot climb within the first 600 meters. Don’t worry though, it’s followed by a 70-foot drop that will take you into the mile marker. The route heads north of Bronxville, and runs along Sagamore Road, eventually changing to Columbus Avenue after passing Main Street. Running parallel to the Bronx River, and train tracks, the route will gradually run upwards after the mile marker through the halfway point, where it descends again. The run tours mostly residential areas, and passes the Bronxville Adult School track in the final mile, leading you back to the doorstep of the NYRC-Bronxville store.
