Columbus Circle – 2013 Group Run Schedule

New York Running Company is proud to announce weekly group runs at our Columbus Circle location. Group runs typically leave on time so please arrive a few minutes early.

Monday Nights:

Sexy Pace Runs – 6:30 p.m. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join this fun run. Most Sexy Pacers run 9- to 10-minute pace per mile, but you’ll meet people running 6:30- to 12-minute pace. Distance is typically 3.5 miles with an option to do less or more. Often you’ll have the opportunity to try out new shoes from various brands. Occasionally we have raffles, give out free gear, provide food and drinks, or host an exercise class or another event (like a scavenger hunt!) with brands. Plus, the group often goes out for drinks, food, and/or trivia post-run.

Tuesday Nights:

Team In Training – 6:00 p.m. Team In Training meets at the store before doing a training run in Central Park. This run is for TNT members, but coaches and mentors are generally available to give you more information about how to get involved with their program.

Fast Twitch Tuesdays – 6:30 p.m. Join us for a speed workout led by all-star coach and store employee Nyles! The workout varies week-to-week, but ranges from a hill workout or tempo session to fast reps and intervals. The workout is adjusted for various ability levels. The group warms up together and Coach Nyles designs the workout so the runners start each rep together, but go at his or her own pace. You get to start and finish the whole workout with training partners no matter your speed. Often these runs include shoe trials and other events.

Thursday Mornings

City Running Tours – 6:45 a.m. This run occurs every other Thursday, with sign up through City Running Tours (click the link to register or for more information). Our store is HQ for pre- and post-run gathering.
