Sexy Pace Goes Ultra! And Thursday Trivia Challenge

We all love our Sexy Pace runs each Monday night. It’s a great group (that keeps growing!) and a great running vibe. And lately our vendors have been joining the fun. This coming Monday, we are getting ready for Ultra Sexy Pace!

Joining us Monday evening will be our friends from Nathan Performance Gear who will be demonstrating their new line of hydration packs and other gear. And who better to show of hydration than two Ultra runners? We are pleased two welcome ultra-running legend Ian Torrence (over 100 ultras under his belt!) and rising star Emily Harrison, both from the adidas Ultra Team.

Now we won’t make you do an Ultra on Monday night. But we are going to be raffling off a team entry in the Transrockies Run, a 6-day team event that will happen August 12-17. Learn more here.

We are excited to meet Ian and Emily and always happy to learn about the wonderful products from Nathan. Of course, we hope to see all of our Sexy Pacers too! Arrive early so you can enjoy some Q&A with Ian and Emily… if you are thinking about doing an Ultra, this is a great time to ask questions. See you at 6:00pm!

Time for our Thursday Trivia Challenge. We are happy that we are getting more entries each week. Kudos to last week’s winner, Jimmy Kwok, who knew that the United States beat Finland to win the Men’s Hockey gold medal in the 1980 Olympics.  Jimmy, come on in and claim your free New York Running Company t-shirt! This week’s question salutes the Transrockies Run. What is the tallest peak in the Rockies? Send your answer to (put “Trivia” in the subject) and we will pick one winner at random from all the correct answers.

So put on your thinking caps, and lace up those shoes… It’s time to get sexy, Ultra style!
