What’s Your Favorite Post-Run Snack?

If there’s one thing we take seriously at New York Running Company (besides running), it’s eating.

Eating before a run. . . eating during a run. . . and, of course, eating after a run!  Hey, if you’re burning the calories, you’re earning the calories, that’s what we say.

This time of year we always enjoy the new seasonal flavors that manufacturers bring out. New on our shelves — Iced Gingerbread and Spiced Pumpkin Pie flavors from Clif Bar, and Salted Caramel from GU.

Our team’s favorite flavors and post-run snacks are as different as our running shoes. Some of our choices include a bowl of cereal, apples dipped in almond/peanut butter, Greek yogurt, a bagel with hummus, even M&Ms.

Tell us how you refuel and treat yourself after a run. We won’t judge you. . . heck, we’ll probably steal some of your delicious ideas!
