New Year, New You!

Train with us in 2014 and you can look forward to a whole new you in the new year. On January 2, we will be kicking off two brand new training programs! First up is our Couch to 5k Beginner Training Program. This ten week program will get you to the start line of our goal race, the Washington Heights Salsa, Blues and Shamrocks 5k.

Our program includes:

  • 10 weeks of training runs with our 5k Group, led by our expert coach.
  • A detailed training plan delivered to your email.
  • Goodie bag with running essentials.

The cost of the 5k program is $50.

For all you runners with an eye on a half marathon this spring, we have the 12 Weeks to a Better Half Marathon Training Program. This 12 week program will incorporate speedwork into your routine to improve efficiency and finish times. The program will begin the week of January 2nd and will be perfect for runners targeting the NYC Half.

Our program includes:

  • 12 weeks of training, including speedwork and long runs, led by our expert coach.
  • A detailed training plan delivered to your email.
  • Goodie bag with running essentials.

The cost of the Half Marathon program is $100.

      Thanks Jo! The Half Marathon program will take place on Thursdays at 6:30pm and Sundays at 8:30am.

    Hello, what days will the 5K training course take place? I am VERY interested. As I am on the “couch” side of the couch to 5K but am motivated.

      We are working on that now, Will. We have a lot of athletes running DC, Boston and NJ in the early season and would really like to put together a weekly long run. Please stay tuned for details.

    Will there be a training program for people training for half marathons in spring? (I know someone asked if there would be long runs, but I’m wondering about a full training program like the ones you’re offering now.)

      We will have another half marathon program beginning in March for a target race at the end of May. The plan will include a weeknight speed workout and a weekend long run.
