Meet Liz Reineberg, sales associate at Road Runner Running Store, who was hired in 2012.
Liz started running after years as a gym rat. After running 5ks and 10ks she decided to train for the Richmond Marathon in 2011. In addition to running, Liz enjoys spin and yoga classes as well as SUP —that’s stand up paddleboarding, which you can ask her about. She enjoys helping runner newbies get geared up for their first big races by educating them on the benefits of technical running apparel and moisture wicking socks.
Richmond has beautiful running and mountain bike trails. However, Liz recommends taking in the beautiful residential architecture of The Fan, Museum District, and Windsor Farms neighborhoods while running longer routes through the city. Liz is a Certified Interior Designer.
When asked about her essential running gear, Liz says: “Head lamp for twilight trail runs and sunscreen for Sunday morning long runs. And… waterproof mascara and a little lipgloss on race day.”
