We are now a single week out from the inaugural Austin HITS Multi-Sport Event. The Austin weather has graciously provided a well-timed help with your taper, so you can expect to be fully rested and prepared for December 14. (Right? Maybe? Not so much?) Whatever your event, you can expect a full day of fit at Austin’s coolest venue for sport.
As part of the whole affair, HITS gave away free race entries as part of a prize package that was awarded to four excited participants. With the race entry, each of the fine fortunate was provided with a personalized training program, under the watchful eyes of HITS Race Director and Coach Mark Wilson. (So we know where to point fingers if things don’t go well.) We (TRC) hooked up each of the athletes in full race gear for the big day, top to bottom, so they’d have one less thing to worry about. We’ve been following their training, and you can too, at http://www.austinchronicle.com/hits/
We’re super excited for the prize winners and the upcoming event! Many thanks to The Austin Chronicle and to HITS Race Director Mark Wilson for helping to inspire the athletes.
