The Gazelle Foundation Run For The Water is one of Austin’s most beloved events. This scenic, challenging 10 miler has been a favorite for years–the leafy neighborhood overlooking the lake is a go-to training ground and the perfect backdrop for the race. But mostly because the Gazelle Foundation’s Gilbert Tuhabonye is one of Austin’s best loved people. His commitment to the community and the cause has drawn fans from all corners of the globe. Well done, again, Gilbert!
Texas Running Company’s own Rory Tunningley (center) came second over the not-easy course in his big road debut since graduating from the University of Texas. Battling a nasty blister due to the high humidity and rolling middle third of the course, Tunningley knocked down an impressive 49:57! Super job, Rory! We’re proud of you!
