Starting at the Texas Running Company-Gateway, this route is a loop around the Westover Hills.
This 4 mile loop is relatively easy the first few miles, though don’t be fooled, it includes a vicious climb in the final 1.4 miles. After heading east, away from the Gateway Shopping Center, the runs turns south and heads gradually downhill towards the Austin Hills, and Cima Oaks. Just before two miles, you’ll pass Anderson High School. As you run through North Crossing, the real climbing begins. With nearly 80 feet of elevation gain in less than a mile, it’s all uphill back to the finish, at the Texas Running Company.
