Attention all women runners or soon-to-be-runners! Are you looking for training partners? Do you need some structure to the running you already do, to get you to the next level, or get you started on a path to running? Are you looking for a terriffic coach to give you sound advice to help you stay motivated and on track to your goals? Are you looking for a great group of non-intimidating, likeminded, women pursuing similar fitness goals while balancing real life in the process? If you answered “yes” to any or all of the above questions, look no further.
On December 1st, the BRC Women’s Fit Team will open registration for their spring season, which begins in Februrary and continues for 15 weeks, culminating in a spring race of your choice! We want women of all ages (16 and up) and ability levels whether you’re a multiple time Boston Marathon qualifier or you’ve never run a race but want to.
In past seasons, the Fit Team has ranged from 80 members to well over 100. Coached by multiple-time Olympic Trials Marathon qualifier Judy Fellhauer, you’ll be provided with training partners to match your current ability levels, a training plan steered toward your given races, and sound advice to help you stay injury-free along the way!
Anyone interested, even if you think you might be interested, come starting December 1st and ask for a registration packet! The season begins February 22nd, but will feature an orientation prior to that. We hope to see lots of new and returning faces!
